CNC VTL - Dia 2300 mm Chuck Diameter A for a CNC Operator typically focuses on operating and maintaining large-format CNC machinines. The operator will be responsible for setting up and running the machine, loading materials, making adjustments, and ensuring the production of high-quality parts. They may also be involved in troubleshooting, minor maintenance, and quality inspection.

Responsibilities

- Operating and Monitoring:

Operate and monitor the double column CNC machine to produce metal parts according to specifications, ensuring the production process runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Loading and Unloading:

Load and unload materials onto the machine, including large workpieces.
- Setup and Adjustment:

Set up and adjust machine tools, including cutting tools, clamping fixtures, and other accessories, as needed.
- Knowledge on Tooling:

Tooling Knowledge on how to handle the same with better parameters for better tool optimisation and optimum time reduction of tool process
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on the machine, including checking fluid levels, inspecting belts, and identifying and resolving minor mechanical or electrical issues.
- Quality Inspection:





Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet specifications and industry standards.
- Material Handling:

Handle, move, and store materials safely and efficiently.
- Safety:

Adhere to all safety and quality standards, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety procedures.
- Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of machine operation, adjustments, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

- Experience:

At least 4-15 years of experience with a focus on CNC machines preferred.
- Skills:
- CNC programming knowledge (or willingness to learn).
- Blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Experience with various cutting tools and materials.
- Good Instrument knowledge (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) understanding.
- Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in CNC machining is a plus.
- Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift and carry materials, and perform repetitive motions.

Optional Skills

- CAM Software Knowledge: Familiarity with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM).
- Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve minor mechanical or electrical issues.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Problem-solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues independently.
