Summary

As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning applications and data to cloud environments. This role requires careful planning and execution of migration strategies that ensure scalability and high performance. The engineer collaborates with various teams to implement solutions that leverage both private and public cloud technologies, aiming to support innovative business goals and enhance operational efficiency.

Throughout the day, the engineer monitors progress, addresses challenges, and adapts plans to meet evolving project requirements and organizational objectives.

'End to end experience on configure and implement Oracle EDMCS to manage master data, metadata, and governance processes. Design and maintain data models, hierarchies, viewpoints, node types, and applications with one or two full cycle implementation experience in EDMCS Register, manage and integration with applications including EPBCS, FCCS, Fusion, and custom applications. Develop and maintain views, viewpoints, node sets, subscriptions, and validation rules.

Implement metadata governance frameworks, hierarchy management, and attribute governance processes. Create and optimize workflows, approval processes,



and user access protocols and good experience to integrate workflow/approval/governance process with ServiceNow Positive experience on metadata migrations and deployments across multiple environments. Good work experience on develops automation solutions using REST APIs, Python, and Jython or with custom scripting.

Support

Out-of-Box model integrations and custom integration frameworks. Ensure data consistency, transformation, cleansing, and mapping across source systems. Good Experience on Implement data validation, governance policies, and audit controls.

- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless migration processes and minimize downtime.
- Continuously evaluate and improve migration methodologies to align with emerging cloud technologies and best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS).
- Experience in cloud migration strategies and implementation using private and public cloud platforms.
- Strong knowledge of application and data migration techniques ensuring scalability and performance.




- Ability to assess existing infrastructure and design optimized cloud solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud security principles and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address technical challenges during migration.

Experience in Oracle EPM Cloud (EPBCS) and other EPM modules like Planning, Essbase, Reporting, etc. application administration, development, and support. Expertise in EPBCS application design, configuration, and customization.

Familiarity with Oracle Data Management, ODI, and other data integration tools.

Experience with Business Rules, Data Forms, Calculation Scripts, Member Formulas, and Security within EPBCS and Essbase.

Experience with EPM Automate, RESTful APIs and SQL for integrations and data manipulation.

Proven track record of designing, implementing, and supporting EPBCS solutions in production environments.

Experience with integrating EPBCS with ERP systems, external data sources, and third-party applications.

Knowledge on Groovy scripting and process automations.

Strong understanding of financial and business processes like budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Knowledge of cloud security, data governance, and compliance standards related to financial systems.

Robust problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and contribute to project success.

Additional Information

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
