About the Role

We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure & DevSecOps Engineer — Security & Compliance to help build and operate Kriyal’s secure cloud infrastructure.

You will work closely with the engineering team to deploy reliable infrastructure, automate operations, strengthen cloud security, and establish the technical controls required for security and compliance programs such as SOC 2 and HIPAA .

This is a hands-on engineering role. You will be expected to build, automate, troubleshoot, document, and continuously improve our infrastructure.

You do not need to be an expert in every compliance framework on day one. We are looking for someone with strong infrastructure fundamentals who is interested in growing into cloud security and compliance ownership.

Responsibilities Cloud Infrastructure

- Deploy and maintain production infrastructure on AWS and/or Google Cloud .
- Configure secure networking, compute, storage, databases, and supporting services.
- Manage Linux-based cloud infrastructure and system administration.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards.
- Support high availability, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Monitor cloud usage and help optimize infrastructure costs.
- Maintain separate development, staging, and production environments.

DevSecOps & Automation

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools .
- Integrate security checks into CI/CD workflows.




- Automate operational and security tasks wherever practical.
- Manage containerized workloads and deployment infrastructure.
- Improve deployment reliability, repeatability, and observability.

Cloud Security

- Implement and maintain IAM and least-privilege access.
- Configure security groups, firewalls, VPNs, private networking, and other cloud security controls.
- Manage secrets, credentials, certificates, and encryption.
- Monitor infrastructure for security issues and misconfigurations.
- Assist with vulnerability scanning, patching, and remediation.
- Maintain centralized security and audit logs.
- Participate in incident investigation and response.
- Conduct regular infrastructure security reviews.

Security & Compliance Work with engineering leadership and external compliance/security advisors to implement technical controls supporting:

- SOC 2
- HIPAA
- ISO 27001 and other applicable security frameworks

Responsibilities may include:
- Maintaining access-control evidence.
- Supporting security and compliance audits.
- Maintaining asset inventories.
- Documenting infrastructure and security configurations.
- Supporting vulnerability and penetration testing.
- Maintaining evidence for security controls.
- Supporting security policies and operational procedures.
- Tracking remediation activities.
- Helping automate compliance evidence collection.

What We Are Looking For Required

- 2–4 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, SRE, Cloud Security, or a related engineering role.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or both .
- Strong Linux/Unix fundamentals.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, VPNs, firewalls, and network security.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform or another Infrastructure-as-Code tool .
- Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Git and modern software-development workflows.
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Understanding of IAM, secrets management, encryption,



and access control.
- Experience with cloud monitoring and logging.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to document infrastructure, configurations, and procedures clearly.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred

- Experience with both AWS and GCP.
- Kubernetes experience.
- Experience with cloud security tooling.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation.
- Experience with security incident response.
- Experience with SOC 2 or HIPAA environments.
- Experience with Vanta, Drata, Secureframe, or similar compliance platforms.
- Experience implementing ISO 27001 controls.
- Experience supporting penetration testing or security audits.
- Experience securing AI/ML infrastructure.
- Experience with edge computing or hybrid cloud infrastructure.
- AWS, GCP, Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, or security certifications.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
