To independently audit and verify civil works executed by the Civil Department, ensuring accuracy in measurements, quantities, materials, billing, costs, quality, and compliance with approved plans, BOQs, and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular audits of ongoing and completed civil works.

- Verify site measurements, quantities, BOQ items, and work completion.

- Cross-check contractor bills, work orders, measurements, and supporting documents.

- Compare actual site execution with approved drawings, BOQ, specifications, and work orders.

- Verify material consumption, wastage, and usage against approved quantities.

- Identify quantity variations, excess measurements, duplicate claims, and cost discrepancies.

- Conduct physical site inspections and independently verify reported work progress.

- Check the quality and specification compliance of civil works.

- Review project-related expenses and identify unnecessary or irregular costs.

- Verify supporting documents, approvals, MR/PO/GRN, invoices, and other relevant records wherever applicable.

- Identify process gaps,



deviations, and potential financial or operational risks.

- Prepare transparent audit observations and submit periodic audit reports to Management.

- Follow up on corrective actions and verify whether identified issues have been properly resolved.

- Coordinate with the Civil, Purchase, Stores, Finance, and other concerned departments when required for audit verification.

- Maintain proper records of audit findings, supporting documents, and corrective actions.

- Required Qualification

- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering.

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction, quantity surveying, billing, estimation, or civil auditing.

- Experience in project/site audit will be an added advantage.

- Good knowledge of civil construction, quantity surveying, BOQ, estimation, billing, and measurements.
