Co-Founder & Founding CTO – Technology & Product

About the Opportunity

We are building a new technology-driven startup and are looking for an exceptional IIT graduate to join us as a Co-Founder & Founding CTO.

This is not a conventional developer role. We are looking for someone who wants to build a company from the ground up, take complete ownership of technology and product development, and work closely with the founding team to turn the business vision into a scalable digital product.

The other co-founders will primarily focus on business development, sales, partnerships, customer acquisition and commercial growth, while you will take ownership of the technology, product and development ecosystem.

Who We Are Looking For

- Graduate/Postgraduate from a premier IIT.
- Strong background in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Ideally 0–2 years of experience; exceptional fresh graduates with strong technical capabilities are welcome.
- Strong hands-on programming and product-building ability.
- Entrepreneurial mindset — someone who wants to build, not just work.
- Comfortable taking ownership and making technology decisions independently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.

Your Role as Co-Founder & Founding CTO You will be responsible for building and leading the complete technology function of the startup.

Product & Development

- Build the company's web platform and applications from scratch.
- Own the complete software development lifecycle — architecture, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
- Convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Develop both frontend and backend systems.
- Design and manage databases, APIs and integrations.
- Build secure, reliable and scalable infrastructure.

Technology Strategy

- Decide the technology stack and development architecture.
- Establish coding standards,



development processes and technical best practices.
- Select and manage third-party technologies, APIs and SaaS tools.
- Ensure the platform is optimized for performance, security and scalability.

Future Technology Team

- Initially be a hands-on individual contributor.
- As the company grows, build and lead the technology team.
- Hire, mentor and manage developers and other technical talent.
- Eventually transition from primarily coding to leading the complete technology organization.

What We Expect From You We are looking for someone who can say:

"Give me the idea, and I'll figure out how to build it."

You should be comfortable working independently, solving problems without having every requirement clearly defined, and taking complete ownership of outcomes.

You don't need to know everything today. What matters is that you are a strong problem solver, rapid learner and builder.

Ideal Technical Skills

Experience with several of the following would be valuable:

- React / Next.js
- Node.js / Python / relevant backend technologies
- SQL / NoSQL databases
- REST APIs
- Cloud platforms such as AWS / Azure / GCP
- Git & CI/CD
- Authentication & payment integrations
- Mobile application development
- AI/ML integrations
- System architecture and scalability

You don't need to know every technology listed above. Strong fundamentals and the ability to learn quickly matter more. The Co-Founder Prospect

This is an equity-based founding opportunity, not a conventional employment position.
