About UBIQSUBIQS has built a hardware root of trust — identity anchored in a physical property of the silicon itself, not a stored key or software credential. No secret exists anywhere, on the device or the verifier, that could be extracted even under direct physical access.

This is not a roadmap claim. Our hardware root of trust has completed a TSMC tapeout, has been validated through a $2.5M U.S. Army award, and the identity mechanism is patented. We are raising seed funding to scale two product lines: Guardian Module, bringing this root of trust into sovereign and regulated AI infrastructure, and Identity Core, integrated directly into AI agent systems to give every action a verifiable, non-forgeable identity.

The Problem We're SolvingEvery current approach to machine and AI agent identity — certificates, access tokens, even hardware-backed keys held in secure elements — depends on a credential that exists as data somewhere. Data can be extracted, cloned, or replayed. As AI agents take on real authority — moving money, controlling infrastructure, acting without a human in the loop — the gap between “this credential looks valid” and “this is genuinely the entity it claims to be” stops being theoretical.

It is already being exploited.

Who We NeedWe are looking for a Chief Business Officer and Co-Founder — not someone we need to bring up to speed, but someone who has already been living at the intersection of cybersecurity and AI for the better part of their career, and has independently arrived at conclusions close to our own. We expect this person to be a genuine subject matter expert — not someone learning the space alongside us, but someone who already is one.

Specifically

- 25+ years of experience, with real, hands-on time at the intersection of cybersecurity and AI — not adjacent, not observing from the sidelines, but part of building, scaling, or selling into this exact space.
- A genuine, working understanding of chip-level security: hardware root of trust, secure elements, TPMs, HSMs, and Confidential Computing — what each actually guarantees, where the real differentiation between them lies, and precisely where the voids are that none of them close. You should be able to have this conversation with us on day one, not learn it from us.
- Equal fluency on the agent-security side:

where guardrails succeed and fail, why stateless, per-turn checks miss cross-session and cross-agent threats, and how governance frameworks quietly assume an identity layer they never actually verify.
- A working knowledge of the entire AI agent security value chain — who sells what, where the real money and urgency sit, and where each layer's guarantees actually stop, from model providers through orchestration, governance platforms, and the infrastructure underneath all of it.
- A transparent, independently-formed view of the market gap in AI agent identity and hardware trust — not persuaded by our pitch, but already convinced of something close to it before we ever spoke.
- Real experience translating deep technical credibility into business outcomes: fundraising, design partnerships, enterprise and government relationships, go-to-market strategy.
- Deep, current fluency in the competitive and adjacent ecosystem — who's building what, where the real gaps are, and where the noise is. You should be able to map this space for us on day one, not the other way around.
- Genuine proximity to the actual buyers — CISOs, cybersecurity heads, security architects, defense and regulated-industry procurement stakeholders — built over years, not a cold-outreach list. You should already be trusted in rooms we still need to get into.
- Someone who eats, sleeps, and breathes AI and agentic security — not as a job you clock into, but as something you'd be doing anyway. If this space genuinely excites you, that shows up in how you talk about it, and we'll know within the first five minutes.
- An entrepreneur at heart, not someone waiting for the next promotion. If your instinct is to build something of your own rather than climb inside someone else's org chart, this is the conversation you've been waiting to have.
- Real, personal experience raising capital of your own — you have sat on the founder's side of that table before,

not just advised from outside it.
- Ideally, you have already built and run your own startup. You know exactly what this costs, and you are choosing it again anyway.
- The judgment and network to move fast in defense, regulated-industry, and enterprise security channels from day one.

What This Role Actually IsThis is a co-founder role, not an executive hire. That means:

- Equity, not a salary, until the company is funded.
- Real ownership and real decision-making authority over the business side of the company, alongside the technical team.
- A seat at the table from the beginning — not joining a company that has already been fully shaped without you.

We are being direct about the compensation structure because we want someone who is evaluating this as a genuine startup bet, not a job. If you have the conviction already, this is the only detail that should give you pause — and it is the same bet we are making.

What You'll Actually Do• Lead fundraising conversations alongside the founding team, with the technical credibility to go deep when investors push.

- Build and own relationships with design partners across defense, regulated industries, and enterprise AI infrastructure.
- Own and grow direct relationships with CISOs, cybersecurity heads, and security leadership at target customers — the people who will ultimately decide whether this gets deployed.
- Own revenue generation directly — not just the strategy, but the number itself.
- Build and maintain the partnership ecosystem this space runs on: the right integrators, resellers, and technology alliances, not just the customers.
- Be a visible, credible voice for the company in the industry — conferences, content, the rooms where this space actually gets talked about.
- Shape go-to-market strategy for Guardian Module and Identity Core as distinct product lines with different buyers.
- Represent the company at the level of technical depth this space actually requires — not as a generalist business development hire.

If This Is YouYou already know whether you're the person we're describing. If you are, reach out directly — we would rather have a real conversation than a formal application process.

Please do send a cover letter detailing how do you see the fitment
