Filo Edtech is looking for an experienced Chemistry Faculty to join our B2G (Business-to-Government) project in Pakur, Jharkhand.
The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to Class 11th and 12th students, along with JEE-oriented preparation, at assigned government schools in Pakur, Jharkhand.
The role requires strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom teaching skills, and the ability to simplify complex Chemistry concepts while developing students' conceptual understanding and problem-solving abilities for both Class 11th/12th board examinations and JEE.
This is a fully on-site teaching role at government schools in Pakur, Jharkhand.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and concept-focused Chemistry classes for Class 11th and 12th students.
- Teach Chemistry concepts aligned with the CBSE/school curriculum and JEE preparation.
- Build strong conceptual understanding across Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry.
- Prepare students for Class 11th/12th examinations and JEE through regular practice and problem-solving.
- Conduct doubt-resolution and practice sessions to strengthen students' understanding.
- Teach numerical, conceptual, and application-based Chemistry problems.
- Identify students' learning gaps and provide appropriate academic support.
- Develop students' analytical and problem-solving abilities through relevant questions and examples.
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages students to participate and ask questions.
- Help students develop the discipline, consistency, and confidence required for JEE preparation.
- Coordinate with the academic and on-ground teams for effective implementation of the program.
- Contribute towards improving the overall academic performance of students under the government education program.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of proven teaching experience in Chemistry.
- Solid teaching experience with Class 11th and 12th students.
- Strong command of Chemistry concepts at Class 11th, Class 12th, and JEE level.
- Prior experience teaching JEE aspirants is preferred.
- Ability to simplify complex Chemistry concepts and explain them effectively.
- Strong ability to teach both numerical and conceptual problems.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Student-centric approach with the ability to identify and address learning gaps.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods according to students' learning levels.
- Strong commitment towards improving the academic performance of government school students.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-ground school environment.
- Candidates with a proven track record of helping students perform well in Class 11th/12th and JEE will be preferred.
Important Location Requirement This position is specifically for our B2G project in Pakur, Jharkhand.
The selected faculty will be required to teach physically at assigned government schools in Pakur, Jharkhand.
This is not a remote or online teaching position. Candidates must be willing to work on-site in Pakur, Jharkhand.
