Job Purpose To support the development, optimization and scale-up of HPMC empty capsule formulations and manufacturing processes, with a focus on product quality, process stability, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct laboratory-scale and pilot-scale R&D; trials for HPMC empty capsules.

- Develop, optimize and improve HPMC capsule formulations and manufacturing processes.

- Evaluate existing and current raw materials, polymers, additives and processing aids for capsule manufacturing.

- Plan and execute trials for formulation optimization and process development.

- Investigate and troubleshoot manufacturing defects such as spots, bubbles, pinholes, weight variation, deformation, poor stripping, rough edges and dimensional variation.

- Analyze trial data and prepare conclusions and recommendations for further trials.

- Coordinate with QC, QA and Production for R&D; trials, testing,



investigations and process improvement.

- Prepare and maintain R&D; reports and ensure traceability of experimental work.

- Ensure all R&D; activities are performed in accordance with GMP, GLP, safety requirements and company quality procedures.

Desired Skills

- Good understanding of polymer chemistry and formulation principles.

- Ability to design and execute systematic R&D; experiments and interpret results.

- Good knowledge of GMP, GLP and pharmaceutical documentation practices.

- Ability to work effectively with QC, QA and Production teams.

- General Knowledge of report-writing and documentation skills.

- Basic knowledge of laboratory instruments, viscosity measurement and other relevant analytical techniques.
