Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Gurugram.

The Chartered

Accountant will manage and review accounting records, prepare and analyze financial statements, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations. Daily responsibilities include performing statutory and tax audits, supporting assurance and advisory engagements, preparing tax computations and returns, and assisting in financial planning and reporting for clients. The role also involves identifying process improvements, preparing working papers and reports, coordinating with internal teams and clients, and staying updated on regulatory and industry developments.

Accountant will work closely with senior team members to support complex assignments and contribute to client service excellence.

Qualifications

- Qualified accounting and audit skills, including strong knowledge of accounting standards, statutory audit procedures, and financial statement analysis.
- Taxation expertise, such as direct and indirect tax compliance, tax planning, and preparation and review of tax returns and related documentation.
- Advisory and analytical skills, including ability to interpret financial data, support business decision-making, and contribute to transaction and consulting assignments.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel), with the ability to manage detailed working papers and reports efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong documentation, presentation, and client interaction abilities.
- Ability to work accurately under deadlines, manage multiple engagements, and collaborate effectively in a team-based, professional environment.
- Recognized Chartered Accountant qualification (e.g., ICAI or equivalent), with relevant post-qualification experience in audit, taxation, or advisory preferred.
- Familiarity with Indian financial, regulatory, and tax frameworks; experience in a professional services or consulting firm is an advantage.
