About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Category Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and managing categories across all warehouse locations. The role will focus on strengthening warehouse operations, ensuring smooth coordination between the Head Office and warehouses, improving inventory and category performance, and facilitating operational efficiency.

The candidate will be based at the Head Office and will be required to travel regularly across warehouse locations to monitor operations, identify gaps, implement improvements, and ensure adherence to company processes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee assigned product categories across multiple warehouse locations.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, availability, ageing, and category performance.
- Identify operational gaps across warehouses and drive timely corrective actions.
- Conduct regular warehouse visits to assess processes, inventory accuracy, storage practices, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure proper coordination between Head Office, warehouse, dispatch, procurement, and other relevant teams.
- Analyse category-wise data and prepare regular reports on stock, movement, wastage, ageing, and performance.
- Work towards reducing stock discrepancies, wastage, damages, and operational losses.
- Ensure proper implementation and adherence to SOPs and company policies across warehouse locations.
- Support warehouse teams in resolving operational challenges and improving productivity.




- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for replenishment, stock transfers, and inventory requirements.
- Track and follow up on pending operational issues until closure.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and strengthen warehouse operations.
- Maintain regular communication with warehouse executives and provide necessary operational support.
- Share insights and recommendations with management based on warehouse and category performance.
- Undertake any other operational or category-related responsibilities assigned by the management.

Qualification & Experience

- Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Operations, Supply Chain, Retail Management, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in category management, warehouse operations, inventory management, supply chain, retail, or a related field.
- Candidates with experience in managing multiple locations/warehouses will be preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
