About the Role

MIRAS is looking for a responsible and customer-oriented Cashier to manage daily billing, cash transactions, POS operations, and payment reconciliation. The ideal candidate should be accurate, honest, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant/QSR environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle daily cash, card, UPI, and other digital payment transactions.
- Operate the POS/Billing system, preferably Petpooja, and generate accurate bills.
- Ensure correct billing and collection of payments from customers.
- Maintain proper records of cash and digital transactions.
- Perform daily cash and sales reconciliation and report discrepancies.
- Manage opening and closing cash procedures.
- Handle refunds, cancellations, discounts, and void transactions as per company policy.
- Monitor and process online orders through the POS system, including relevant aggregator orders.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and operations team for smooth order processing.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the cashier counter.
- Provide polite and efficient customer service.
- Prepare and submit daily sales and cash reports.
- Escalate cash shortages, excess cash, billing discrepancies, or system issues immediately.
- Follow all company SOPs related to cash handling, billing, discounts, and financial controls.

Requirements




- 1–3 years of experience as a Cashier / Billing Executive / POS Executive, preferably in QSR, restaurant, café, retail, or hospitality.
- Familiarity with Petpooja POS and restaurant billing software is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with cash, UPI, card, and other digital payment modes.
- Good numerical and calculation skills.
- Strong understanding of billing and daily cash reconciliation.
- Valuable communication and customer-handling skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets will be an advantage.
- Honest, reliable, and disciplined.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with prior experience in restaurants, QSRs, cafés, or hospitality brands and hands-on experience using Petpooja will be preferred.
