Positions
- Associate Consultant Cardiac Anaesthesiology
- Consultant – Cardiac Anaesthesiology
Qualification Candidates with any of the following qualifications may apply:
- MD / DNB – Anaesthesiology with relevant Cardiac Anaesthesia experience
- DM – Cardiac Anaesthesia
- DrNB – Cardiac Anaesthesia
- FIACTA with relevant experience in Cardiac Anaesthesia
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anaesthesia care for adult cardiac and cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
- Pre-operative assessment and optimization of cardiac surgical patients.
- Administer and manage anaesthesia for complex cardiac surgeries.
- Intra-operative hemodynamic monitoring and management.
- Expertise in advanced cardiac anaesthesia techniques and monitoring.
- Management of patients requiring advanced cardiac critical care.
- Post-operative management and coordination with the Cardiac ICU and CTVS teams.
- Management of emergency and high-risk cardiac cases.
- Work closely with Cardiologists, Cardiac Surgeons, Intensivists and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, patient-safety standards and quality practices.
- Participate in academic activities, audits,
clinical meetings and departmental initiatives.
Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have:
- Strong clinical expertise in Cardiac Anaesthesiology.
- Experience in cardiac OT and cardiac critical care.
- Good knowledge of advanced monitoring and peri-operative cardiac management.
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Robust communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
