The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the sales and market development of the company's dental implant products by developing strong relationships with dentists, implantologists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, dental clinics, hospitals, dental laboratories, distributors, and other relevant stakeholders.
The role involves identifying new business opportunities, acquiring and retaining customers, achieving sales targets, expanding the company's market presence, and building long-term skilled relationships within the dental industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY:
A. Business Development & Sales
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve assigned sales and business development targets.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in the assigned territory.
- Develop a strong network of dentists, implantologists, oral surgeons, prosthodontists, dental clinics, hospitals, and dental institutions.
- Conduct regular visits to dental professionals and key decision-makers to promote the company's dental implant systems and related products.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
- Convert prospective customers into active customers and develop long-term business relationships.
- Increase product adoption among dental professionals through regular product demonstrations, presentations, and clinical discussions.
- Explore opportunities for institutional and bulk sales.
B. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Regularly follow up with dentists and clinics to understand their requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Address customer queries, complaints,
and product-related concerns promptly in coordination with the relevant internal teams.
- Maintain regular communication with key customers to increase customer retention and repeat purchases.
- Identify high-potential customers and develop them into long-term accounts.
C. Product Promotion & Clinical Engagement
- Promote the company's dental implant systems, prosthetic components, surgical kits, and other related products.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for dentists and implantologists.
- Coordinate with clinical/technical teams for product demonstrations, workshops, seminars, and hands-on training programs.
- Support doctors during product trials, where required, in coordination with qualified clinical/technical personnel.
- Communicate product features, perks, applications, and competitive advantages effectively.
- Keep updated on developments and trends in dental implantology and competing implant systems.
D. Distributor & Channel Development
- Identify and appoint suitable distributors/dealers in assigned territories, where applicable.
- Develop and manage relationships with distributors and channel partners.
- Monitor distributor performance, stock levels, sales activities, and market coverage.
- Ensure effective product availability and distribution within the assigned territory.
- Develop new markets and expand the company's distribution network.
- Work closely with distributors to achieve territory-wise sales targets.
E. Market Intelligence
- Conduct regular market visits and gather information regarding:
- Competitor products and pricing
- Market trends
- Customer preferences
- New clinics and hospitals
- Emerging dental implant markets
- Competitor activities and promotions
- Provide regular market feedback to management.
- Identify potential areas for geographical and product-line expansion.
- Monitor competitor activities and recommend appropriate business strategies.
F. Events, Conferences & Training Programs
- Participate in dental conferences, exhibitions, trade shows, seminars, and workshops.
- Assist in organizing CDE programs, implantology workshops, study clubs, hands-on courses, and doctor engagement programs.
- Develop relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), leading implantologists, and dental institutions.
- Coordinate with doctors and professional associations for educational and promotional activities.
G. Sales Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits, leads, opportunities, orders, and follow-ups.
- Prepare periodic sales and business development reports.
- Maintain an updated customer database and sales pipeline.
- Use the company's CRM system or other reporting tools effectively.
- Submit territory-wise sales forecasts and business plans to management.
- Ensure timely collection of payments in coordination with the finance/accounts team.
- Track sales performance against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
