Role Description The Business Development Intern role is an on-site internship position based in Bengaluru South. The intern will assist in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, supporting lead generation activities, and conducting basic market research on smart home and automation trends. Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging with prospective customers, gathering and documenting client requirements, coordinating with internal teams to prepare proposals,



and maintaining records of outreach and follow-ups.

The intern will also help strengthen customer relationships through professional communication, participate in meetings or site visits, and contribute to business presentations and reports.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to assess market data, customer needs, and business opportunities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging prospects and collaborating with internal teams.
- Lead generation and market research capabilities to identify potential clients and understand industry trends.
- Customer service orientation, with the ability to respond professionally to inquiries and support client interactions.
- Interest in smart home, IoT, or technology solutions; prior exposure to home automation or related fields is an advantage.
- Ability to work in office in Bengaluru South, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations) and willingness to learn sales and CRM tools.
