Role Description The Business Development Intern will support the growth and partnership efforts of Ponens Labs in a hybrid role based in Visakhapatnam, with some flexibility for work from home. This internship involves assisting with lead generation, conducting market research on potential clients and industry segments, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or tracking tools. The intern will help prepare presentations, proposals, and outreach materials, and participate in email, phone,



and online communication with prospects under guidance from senior team members.

Day-to-day responsibilities also include coordinating follow-ups, gathering feedback from clients or partners, and collaborating with the sales and delivery teams to align business development activities with ongoing projects.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills and Market Research abilities to identify opportunities and interpret data.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for emails, calls, and presentations.
- Candidates should possess Lead Generation skills, including prospecting and basic qualification of potential clients.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, manage expectations, and support relationship-building.
- Basic understanding of software services, IT outsourcing, or technology consulting is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup from Visakhapatnam, manage time effectively, and collaborate with remote and on-site teams.
- Comfort with productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, CRM tools) and online communication platforms.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Technology, or a related field is preferred.
