About the Role

We are looking for a energetic and result-oriented Business Development Executive with 3-5 years of relevant experience in MEP, Fire Protection, Fire Fighting, Electrical Projects, Mechanical Piping or Industrial Project Sales.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with clients, consultants and contractors, generating project enquiries, supporting tendering and estimation activities, and coordinating with internal technical and project teams for successful business conversion.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify upcoming MEP, Electrical, Fire Protection, Fire Fighting and Industrial Projects.
- Generate qualified leads and project enquiries through market research, networking, client visits and project tracking.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, consultants, contractors, builders and project stakeholders.
- Conduct client meetings, consultant meetings and regular project/site visits.
- Understand client requirements, project scope, specifications and technical expectations.
- Promote MEP, Electrical, Fire Fighting, Fire Protection, Utility Piping and related engineering solutions.
- Coordinate with Design, Estimation/Costing and Project Execution teams for technical and commercial requirements.
- Support preparation of BOQs, quotations, tender submissions and commercial proposals.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, tenders and technical/commercial discussions.
- Track opportunities from enquiry stage through negotiation and order conversion.




- Identify new clients and develop long-term business relationships.
- Maintain proper records of enquiries, quotations, follow-ups and project pipeline.
- Monitor upcoming projects and market opportunities across Gurugram, Delhi-NCR and other assigned locations.
- Achieve assigned business development and sales targets.

Technical Knowledge Candidates should have working/basic knowledge of:

- MEP Projects
- Fire Protection & Fire Fighting Systems
- Fire Hydrant & Sprinkler Systems
- Electrical Systems
- Mechanical / Utility Piping
- Basic HVAC and PHE/Plumbing
- BOQ and Estimation
- Tendering and Quotations
- Technical Specifications
- NFPA and relevant Fire Protection standards

These technical areas are consistent with Sankhla's stated MEP services, including electrical systems, plumbing, fire sprinkler/suppression systems and industrial process services.

Candidate Profile

- 3-5 years of relevant experience in MEP / Fire Protection / Fire Fighting / Electrical / Mechanical Piping / Industrial Project Sales or Business Development.
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire & Safety Engineering or relevant technical discipline.
- Strong B2B sales and business development skills.
- Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Experience in client, consultant and contractor handling.
- Ability to generate leads and identify upcoming projects.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and coordinate with Design, Estimation and Project Execution teams.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and project/site visits.
- Candidates from MEP contractors, Fire Protection companies, EPC/engineering companies or industrial project contracting companies will be preferred.
- Immediate joiners / candidates with short notice period will be preferred.
