Bus Captain – Job Role & Responsibilities

- Pre-boarding: Report on time in proper uniform and grooming. Check the passenger manifest, make pre-boarding/IVR calls, guide passengers to the boarding point, verify KYC/OTP, assist with luggage, and provide water bottles.

- During boarding: Welcome passengers politely, verify that all passengers have boarded, update boarding status correctly in the Crew App, and coordinate with the driver for an on-time departure.

- During journey: Make welcome and journey announcements, assist passengers with seats/amenities, maintain AC and light standards, handle passenger concerns politely, and coordinate scheduled BIO/washroom breaks.

- Dropping points: Announce upcoming dropping points in advance, ensure passengers are dropped only at the correct locations,



and complete/end the trip only after reaching the final dropping point.

- Customer service: Maintain professional behaviour, avoid arguments with passengers, resolve basic concerns immediately, and escalate serious issues to the Route/Territory Manager.

- Operational responsibility: Coordinate with the operations team regarding delays, breakdowns, route diversions, missed passengers, vehicle issues, or emergencies.

- Performance: Support good NPS and RedBus ratings, collect passenger feedback, maintain KYC and audit compliance, and follow all IntrCity SOPs.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹220,000.00 per month
