We are looking for a BIM MEP Modeler to join our team and support the development and coordination of MEP BIM models for building and infrastructure projects.
The candidate will be responsible for creating accurate 3D MEP models, preparing drawings, updating models based on design changes, and supporting BIM coordination activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and develop MEP BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
- Model HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and other MEP systems based on design drawings and project requirements.
- Prepare and update MEP shop drawings and documentation.
- Perform model updates based on design changes and coordination requirements.
- Assist in BIM coordination and clash detection.
- Coordinate MEP models with architectural and structural models.
- Maintain model accuracy, standards, naming conventions,
and project requirements.
- Extract quantities and information from BIM models when required.
- Work with engineers and BIM coordinators to resolve modeling and coordination issues.
- Follow project BIM standards and delivery requirements.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Basic understanding of HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.
- Understanding of BIM modeling and coordination concepts.
- Ability to read and understand MEP drawings.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Navisworks and clash detection is an advantage.
- Positive attention to detail and willingness to learn.
