We are looking for skilled and motivated BIM Architects to join our architectural consultancy team and work on a variety of institutional, residential and large-scale building projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain architectural BIM models using Autodesk Revit
- Prepare detailed plans, sections, elevations, schedules and construction drawings
- Develop architectural components, families and details as required
- Prepare BIM models from conceptual design through detailed design and construction documentation
- Coordinate architectural models with structural, electrical, plumbing and other services
- Identify and resolve design and modelling conflicts through BIM coordination
- Assist in preparation of BIM-based project documentation and drawing sets
- Incorporate design changes and maintain model accuracy throughout the project
- Participate in coordination meetings with consultants and project teams
- Assist in developing BIM standards, templates and workflows within the organisation
Skills Required
- Solid working knowledge of Autodesk Revit Architecture
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD
- Understanding of architectural construction, materials and detailing
- Knowledge of BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination
- Ability to prepare accurate and well-organised construction documentation
- Knowledge of Navisworks / BIM coordination will be an advantage
- Knowledge of Revit Families, parameters and model management will be preferred
- Knowledge of Dynamo / BIM automation will be an added advantage
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
