About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with expertise in Apache Kafka to join our agile team in Pune. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications and distributed systems.

This role requires a deep understanding of Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka, and REST APIs to deliver enterprise-grade solutions. As part of our team, you will collaborate closely with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and other developers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software solutions that meet our clients' evolving needs.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Java development, with a strong focus on Apache Kafka. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Proven experience with Spring Boot,



microservices architecture, and REST API development is essential. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in SQL and relational databases, version control systems like Git, and CI/CD practices. Knowledge of application security, performance optimization, and troubleshooting in enterprise environments is also required.

Additional skills such as experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and familiarity with Agile methodologies are considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust applications using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Create scalable and resilient microservices-based applications to support business growth and agility.
- Design and implement event-driven solutions leveraging Apache Kafka, including developing Kafka producers and consumers.
- Manage Kafka topics, partitions, offsets, and consumer groups to ensure efficient data processing and delivery.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, enabling seamless communication between internal and external systems.
- Optimize application performance through code tuning, troubleshooting, and implementing best practices.
- Implement comprehensive error handling, logging,



monitoring, and exception management strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze technical specifications, and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, adhere to coding standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in development, staging, and production environments, ensuring minimal downtime.
