Role Description The Automation Engineer role is a full time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad.

The Automation

Engineer will design, program, test, and commission automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and related control hardware, in line with project specifications and client requirements. Daily responsibilities include developing electrical panel layouts and control architectures, configuring process control logic, diagnosing and resolving automation issues, and optimizing system performance. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, preparation of technical documentation,



adherence to industry and regulatory standards, and occasional support during installation, start-up, and maintenance phases at client facilities.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Automation, with the ability to design and implement control systems for industrial and factory environments.
- Proficiency in Process Control and Troubleshooting to analyze system performance, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Experience with Robotics and advanced automation technologies, including integration and programming of robotic components where applicable.
- Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, electrical panel design, and control architecture selection, preferably in industrial or pharmaceutical settings.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation, or a related technical discipline.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation, with attention to detail and compliance with relevant standards.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on-site with engineering teams and clients.
- Willingness to support commissioning activities, field visits, and occasional extended hours based on project needs.
