Role Description The Associate role is a full-time position based in chennai and Pattabiram. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting audit, assurance, and tax engagements, preparing working papers and documentation, and assisting in the analysis and interpretation of financial statements.

The Associate will help in drafting reports, complying with applicable accounting and auditing standards, and coordinating with clients to gather information and clarify queries. The role also involves contributing to internal process improvements,



maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with partners and team members on varied assignments across sectors.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in accounting, auditing, and taxation, with the ability to interpret financial statements and apply relevant standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with accounting or audit software tools.
- Effective analytical, problem-solving, and research skills for handling complex client issues and regulatory requirements.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare structured working papers, reports, and client correspondence.
- Ability to work both independently and in teams, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional qualifications or ongoing pursuit of CA or equivalent certifications are an advantage.
- Interest in staying updated on changes in tax laws, corporate regulations, and international accounting practices; prior experience in a CA firm or professional services environment is beneficial.
