L3 Assistant Officer 2-3 years Chennai Full Time No minimum qualification required Reports to: Security Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and support Security Supervisors across assigned client sites
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect security standards, guard performance, and protocol compliance
- Support the Security Officer in managing security operations across multiple client sites
- Assist with security guard recruitment and deployment coordination for assigned sites
- Ensure all deployed security personnel maintain proper documentation and valid background verification
- Handle escalated security incidents and client concerns that cannot be resolved at Supervisor level
- Monitor attendance and duty compliance across all assigned sites and report irregularities
- Coordinate emergency coverage and guard replacements across assigned sites
- Prepare site security reports and submit to the Security Officer
- Support the onboarding of new security client sites - protocol setup, guard deployment, induction
- Ensure all security staff follow site-specific protocols and maintain professional standards
Requirements
- No minimum educational qualification required
- 2-3 years of experience in security operations with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Proven ability to manage security teams across multiple client sites
- Positive knowledge of security protocols, access control, and incident management
- Physical fitness and willingness to conduct regular site visits across Chennai
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including night shift visits
Nice to Have
- Ex-serviceman or ex-police background is a strong advantage
- Prior experience as a security supervisor or assistant officer at a large facility
- Knowledge of Tamil Nadu Private Security Agencies Regulation Act
- Familiarity with CCTV, access control systems, and security technology
