Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Wage Administration
- Manage monthly payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement.
- Handle Full & Final (F&F;) settlements, employee exits and related payroll processes.
- Ensure payroll processing is aligned with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Implement appropriate controls to minimise payroll errors and compliance risks.
- Address and resolve employee payroll and salary-related queries and grievances.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for payroll inputs, validation and reconciliation.
Time Office & Attendance Management
- Manage attendance, leave, shift, overtime and other time office processes.
- Ensure adherence to attendance and time office policies.
- Monitor workforce and attendance data and prepare monthly MIS reports.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain dashboards/reports for effective workforce and time office monitoring.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements, including PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, CLRA, Shops & Establishment Act and other applicable regulations.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of statutory challans, returns, registers and reports.
- Maintain accurate statutory records and documentation.
- Support internal and external audits, labour inspections and compliance reviews.
- Identify compliance gaps and take corrective/preventive actions to ensure minimum audit observations and zero major non-conformities.
Preferred candidate profile -
- Experience: 8-12 years of relevant experience in Payroll, Time Office and Statutory Compliance.
- Candidates with experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Automotive, Auto Components or large workforce environments preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end payroll processing and statutory compliance.
- Good understanding of applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Experience in managing attendance/time office processes and workforce MIS.
- Solid analytical skills with proficiency in Advanced Excel and HRMS/ERP systems.
- Should be proactive, detail-oriented and capable of driving process improvements.
