Assistant Manager — Management Information Systems (MIS)

Location: Chandigarh University, Punjab, India

Role Purpose The Assistant Manager — MIS is responsible for developing, maintaining and managing the Management Information Systems and reporting framework for the Administration Department. The role consolidates operational and financial data from Transport, Security, Housekeeping, Official Hospitality, Medical Services and Campus Facilities, converts it into meaningful management information, and provides timely reports, dashboards and analytical insights to support decision-making by the Senior Director — Administration and functional heads. The incumbent will also establish data standards, reporting processes, controls and performance indicators to ensure that administrative operations are measurable, transparent and driven by reliable information.

Administration and develops MIS across the following functional areas:

● Transport MIS (fleet utilisation, fuel, maintenance, compliance and cost per km) ● Security MIS (manpower deployment, incidents, access control and contractor SLAs)



● Housekeeping MIS (deployment, cleaning compliance, consumables and productivity) ● Official Hospitality MIS (events, guest visits, catering costs and budget vs actual) ● Medical Services MIS (patient statistics, staff utilisation and response times) ● Campus Facilities MIS (maintenance, work orders, utilities and AMC/vendor performance)

Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification ● Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Experience ● Minimum 3–6 years of relevant experience in MIS, business reporting, operations analytics or management reporting. ● Solid practical proficiency in Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, Power Query) and Microsoft Power BI at an intermediate level or above; familiarity with ERP/HRMS/Transport or Facility Management systems is an advantage.

Pay: ₹30,146.92 - ₹45,051.66 per month
