Role Description: We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Database & Market Research to manage database development, market research, data quality, and team operations supporting exhibitions, conferences, international business development, and delegation activities.
Responsibilities:
Database & Market Research
- Lead development and maintenance of B2B databases covering companies, decision-makers, government bodies, associations, industry organisations, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate classification, segmentation, verification, Data enrichment, updating, and deduplication of databases.
- Conduct and supervise primary and secondary research across Indian and international markets.
- Identify target exhibitors, visitors, buyers, delegates, companies, industries, and decision-makers.
- Conduct industry, competitor, company, country, and market research to support business development and recent opportunities.
CRM & Research Tools:
- Manage data through Salesforce CRM and Frappe.
- Use Apollo, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other research/enrichment tools.
- Use APIs, AI and automation to improve data extraction and research productivity.
- Use Slack and Workfront for team coordination and project tracking.
Team Management
- Manage and allocate work across the research team.
- Set targets and monitor productivity, quality, and timelines.
- Review team output and ensure accuracy before delivery.
- Train researchers and develop SOPs and standard research processes.
Data Quality & Sales Support
- Ensure accuracy of company, contact, designation, industry, geography, website, and source information.
- Work with Sales and Marketing to create relevant and segmented databases for campaigns and lead generation.
- Incorporate Sales/Marketing feedback to continuously improve database quality.
- Prioritise high-value and commercially relevant prospects.
Project Management & Reporting
- Maintain a central tracker for database and research projects.
- Manage priorities, resources, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple projects.
- Prepare weekly/monthly MIS covering database growth, verification, quality, productivity, project status, and bottlenecks.
- Recommend relevant CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, data-enrichment, AI, and automation tools to improve productivity.
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in B2B database research, market research, business intelligence, lead generation, or related fields.
- 1–2 years of team/project management experience preferred.
- Strong research, Excel, data analysis, database management, and MIS skills.
- Ability to identify relevant companies and decision-makers.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, organisation, and deadline management.
- Experience in exhibitions, conferences, B2B events, or international business development is an advantage.
Salary: 6.5 LPA to 7.2 LPA
Job type: Full-time – onsite role (work from office).
Shift: Day shift only
Location: Kharadi, Pune
Weekly offs: 4th Saturday and all Sundays
