Role & responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day ERP application support, issue resolution and user coordination.
- Understand and support business processes across Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Production, Finance, Service, HR and other functions.
- Gather business requirements, analyze process gaps and convert requirements into effective ERP/application solutions.
- Manage ERP/CRM change requests, customization, testing, UAT and deployment.
- Coordinate with ERP consultants, developers and vendors for application issues, enhancements and implementation.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports, dashboards and management reports.
- Develop and validate reports using MS SQL, SQL queries and Crystal Reports.
- Support implementation and enhancement of CRM, workflow, mobile applications and other business applications.
- Identify opportunities for process automation, digitalization and system integration.
- Provide L2/L3 application support and ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
- Prepare SOPs, process documentation and user guides and conduct user training where required.
- Monitor application access, data accuracy and adherence to defined IT processes.
- Participate in IT projects from requirement gathering through implementation and stabilization.
- Coordinate with the Infrastructure/IT team for application-related server, database, backup and security requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- 5 to 10 years of experience in ERP / IT Applications / Business Applications.
- Strong experience in ERP implementation,



customization and application support.
- Good understanding of manufacturing business processes.
- Good working knowledge of MS SQL Server and SQL queries.
- Experience with Crystal Reports / MIS reporting.
- Experience in requirement gathering, UAT, testing and change management.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience coordinating with ERP vendors, consultants, developers and internal business teams.
- Ability to independently manage multiple application-related activities and projects.
- Strong process-oriented approach with good documentation skills.

Preferred candidate profile

- Experience in a manufacturing / engineering organization.
- Exposure to ERP/CRM, workflow automation and digital transformation projects.
- Experience with dashboards, MIS and business reporting tools.
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, databases, backup and information security will be an added advantage.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be hands-on, process-oriented and business-focused, with the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technology solutions. The candidate should be capable of independently handling ERP/application support, coordinating with multiple stakeholders and driving application enhancements and IT initiatives from requirement gathering through implementation and stabilization.
