Company Description - TPCI is an apex trade and investment promotion organisation notified in the Foreign Trade Policy. TPCI is also recognised and supported by the Department of Commerce, Govt. of India. The council provides strategies for expanding business internationally, by organising specialised business events and simultaneously working with the Government by providing policy suggestions which are essentially based on inputs collated from research and industry stakeholders.
We are looking for a dynamic professional with relevant experience in the exhibition, trade-fair or events industry, with strong business development and client acquisition skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop recent business opportunities for exhibitions and events
- Drive exhibitor and sponsor acquisition
- Generate leads through research, networking and other channels
- Build and maintain relationships with exhibitors,
brands and corporate clients
- Manage the business development and sales cycle from lead generation to conversion
- Follow up with prospects and convert leads into business
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and achieve assigned revenue targets
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth client onboarding and engagement
Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in exhibitions / trade fairs / events / B2B sales preferred
