Role Description This is a full-time, in office Assembly Technician role located in Coimbatore.

The Assembly

Technician is responsible for performing mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly tasks according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and safety standards. Daily activities include using hand and power tools, soldering components, fitting and fastening mechanical parts, and ensuring assemblies meet quality and performance specifications. The role involves inspecting completed work for defects, reporting issues,



and collaborating with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and project deadlines.

The technician is expected to maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all workplace health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly.
- Hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, including fitting, fastening, and aligning components.
- Ability to perform basic soldering on electrical or electronic components as required.
- Knowledge of quality control practices, including inspection, measurement, and documentation of assembly work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to safety in an industrial environment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow supervisor guidance and collaborate with colleagues.
- Previous experience in electro-mechanical or mechanical assembly in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.
- Relevant technical diploma, certification, or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or related fields is an advantage.
