Role Description The Article Trainee will support the firm’s taxation, audit, and compliance engagements under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with bookkeeping, preparing working papers, supporting tax return preparation, and helping with statutory and internal audit tasks. The trainee will also be involved in documentation, data analysis, and maintaining accurate records for clients, while learning to interpret relevant laws, standards, and regulations.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangalore Urban, requiring regular coordination with internal teams and clients,
participation in training sessions, and adherence to professional and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong fundamentals in accounting, auditing, and taxation, with an interest in corporate finance and compliance.
- Candidates should possess skills in data analysis, MS Excel, and basic financial reporting tools for accurate documentation and client deliverables.
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with teams and clients.
- Candidates should possess good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple assignments within deadlines.
- Candidates should be enrolled in or eligible for a Chartered Accountancy program (or equivalent professional course), with relevant academic background in commerce, finance, or accounting.
- Candidates should demonstrate integrity, willingness to learn, and openness to receiving feedback and working in a structured, process-driven environment.
- Prior internship or practical exposure in an accounting or audit firm is an advantage but not mandatory.
