Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and visionary Application Infrastructure & Cloud Services Lead to provide strategic and technical leadership for end-to-end Application Infrastructure and Cloud Services. The role will be responsible for driving operational excellence, scalability, cost optimization, security, and alignment with business objectives.

The ideal candidate will lead the development of scalable cloud platforms, drive cloud migration and automation initiatives, and provide expert oversight across both cloud and on-premises environments. This role requires solid leadership, architecture, engineering, service delivery, and vendor management capabilities.

The individual will manage complex infrastructure integrations, enable DevOps adoption, modernize legacy environments, and transform traditional applications and infrastructure into cloud-ready and cloud-native solutions.

Key Responsibilities Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Leadership

- Lead the Application Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering competency across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Own end-to-end accountability for cloud infrastructure delivery portfolios, ensuring quality, consistency, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Provide strategic leadership and technical direction to application infrastructure and engineering teams.
- Drive infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, automation, and platform engineering initiatives.
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical, operational, and delivery challenges.
- Establish engineering standards, governance frameworks, and best practices across infrastructure and cloud platforms.

Cloud & AI Platform Strategy
- Define and govern Cloud Landing Zone and AI-ready platform architectures aligned with enterprise, regulatory, security, and business requirements.
- Design and establish reference architectures for:




- AI and GenAI-enabled Cloud Landing Zones
- Secure Data, Analytics, and AI platform foundations
- Hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure
- Secure cloud connectivity and integration frameworks

- Collaborate with Data, AI, Cybersecurity, and Application Modernization teams to enable enterprise-wide AI adoption and platform readiness.
- Drive the development of scalable, secure, and future-ready cloud platforms to support emerging technologies and business growth.

Architecture & Engineering Oversight
- Architect, review, and govern high-level and low-level designs for cloud infrastructure, application hosting, resilience, availability, and disaster recovery.
- Assess existing on-premises and cloud environments and define target-state architecture and transformation roadmaps.
- Provide technical oversight for complex cloud migrations, modernization programs, and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
- Ensure infrastructure solutions meet requirements related to scalability, performance, security, availability, resilience, and cost optimization.
- Drive the adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, DevOps, and cloud-native engineering practices.

Assets, Accelerators & Innovation
- Develop and enhance reusable technology assets, accelerators, frameworks, and engineering capabilities to improve delivery efficiency and consistency.
- Build and maintain Automated Cloud and AI Landing Zones .
- Develop reusable Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) frameworks, templates,



and automation capabilities.
- Establish policy-as-code and automated governance frameworks.
- Develop reusable security, compliance, monitoring, observability, and operational accelerators.
- Drive innovation by evaluating emerging cloud, AI, automation, and infrastructure technologies.
- Promote standardization, automation, and continuous improvement across cloud and infrastructure engineering practices.

Security, Governance & Compliance
- Ensure cloud and infrastructure platforms comply with enterprise security, risk, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Define and implement security-by-design principles across cloud infrastructure and platform engineering.
- Establish governance frameworks for cloud usage, access management, security controls, cost management, and operational compliance.
- Partner with Cybersecurity and Risk teams to identify and mitigate infrastructure and cloud-related risks.

Service Delivery & Vendor Management
- Oversee service delivery across application infrastructure and cloud services, ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs and service quality standards.
- Manage strategic relationships with cloud providers, technology partners, and infrastructure vendors.
- Drive vendor performance, commercial optimization, and service improvement initiatives.
- Support business development, solutioning, and pre-sales activities where required.
