Role - APAC EMEA Physical Security Systems and Technology Manager

Description

- Deliver, manage and administer regional physical security systems and equipment, to include, but not limited to: access control and alarm monitoring, CCTV/video recording systems, intrusion detection, and communication systems.
- Manage and coordinate regional service repairs and preventive maintenance, inventory and obsolescence replacement schedules for security systems and equipment.
- Adhere to global written standards and guidelines for managing physical security systems and equipment to ensure operability, reliability and consistent application of security standards are maintained.
- Perform regional security bid specifications; review bids,



analyze costs and provide guidance for approved proposals and installation completed by security integrator.
- Establish and maintain regional security supplier relationships, including project coordination and security systems repair and maintenance work.
- Utilize physical security systems database reporting tools to maintain and support regional security reports that meet company, client and regulatory reporting requirements and audits.
- Perform quality assurance regional database reviews, analysis and reporting.
- Perform applicable physical security systems programming on installation projects, including hardware and software upgrades, and change management maintenance of systems.
- Perform access definition programming for restricted access areas and coordinate space owner /restricted access areas program in conjunction with security operations function.
- Consult and make technical decisions on security systems and technology.
- Train designated regional security site assignment managers on physical security systems and equipment operation, testing, and data entry standards and processes.
- Perform other physical security system and technology related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field or equivalent education/experience
- 10 years of progressive experience in a Physical Security Systems Integrator role and/or Security Technology / Systems Administrator role




- Strong working knowledge and experience with physical security systems and technology applications (e.g., Lenel, March, HID, etc.), equipment/hardware and door locking hardware/systems, with demonstrated aptitude for systems implementation.
- Positive working knowledge of personal computers, networking, Windows operating systems, and MS office products.
- Working knowledge of floor plans, blueprints and a basic understanding of how to read and work with CAD and Visio is essential.
- Experience and knowledge working with network topology and subnetting, database architecture (SQL) and reporting, data mapping / exchange, system platform administration, crystal reports, SharePoint, MS Outlook desired.
- Knowledge of command center operations and principles. Working knowledge of integration concepts with internal security systems as well as integrating external systems.
- Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to multitask/problem solve in an active support help-desk environment
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills; and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, coordinate, escalate and resolve issues.
- Ability to lead and manage multiple regional security projects from concept through installation and commissioning and guided by, and execution of project plans.
- Excellent organizational, priority planning, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in small to large groups with other subject matter experts while identifying pre-requisites and time frames that are dependent for ensuring your milestones get met.
