Role & responsibilities

Experience of overseeing the product development projects through the entire process from concept to launch

Able to interact with customer to discuss timelines, specification and drawings

Able to understand customer specification and Drawings and develop motors as per specs

Knowledge of raw material used for motors

Establish Bills of Material for new or modified products

Able to understand costing of parts, process and motors

Maintain Design documents as per ISO, BIS and certifications

Should have thorough knowledge of instruments/ equipment used for motor testing

Prepare Engineering Change Orders for implementation

Establish test plans to validate recent or modified designs, and prepare technical reports upon completion of tests





Will have project responsibility for improving current and developing new products as assigned.

Perform dimensional analysis and product performance calculations independently to support design projects including thermal modelling, speed/torque characteristics, efficiencies, etc.

Preferred candidate profile An expert in three phase induction motor design and development

Minimum 5 years of experience in an engineering role for three phase AC induction motor with experience in motor design, manufacturing processes and testing.

Bachelors in Electrical Engineering; a Bachelors in another similar engineering discipline is acceptable with the addition of electric motor design & manufacturing experience.
