Role Description The Aircraft Design Trainee internship is a remote role focused on supporting concept development and preliminary design of aerospace and aeronautical structures. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in the creation and refinement of aircraft and spacecraft design layouts, contributing to aerodynamic and structural research, and preparing visual and technical documentation under the guidance of senior team members. The trainee will work with CAD tools and design software to model components,



review reference materials and industry standards, and help ensure alignment with project requirements and safety considerations.

Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, participation in virtual design reviews, and continuous learning in advanced aerospace concepts are key elements of this internship.

Qualifications

- Strong design and visualization skills, including Graphic Design and Graphics for technical and conceptual presentations.
- Foundational knowledge in Architecture or structural design, with interest in aircraft and spacecraft configuration layout.
- Proficiency or familiarity with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D/3D modeling of aerospace components.
- Research skills to gather, analyze, and synthesize technical information related to aerodynamics, structures, and materials.
- Pursuing or having completed a degree or diploma in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate in virtual teams.
- Basic understanding of aerospace concepts such as aerodynamic principles, propulsion fundamentals, and structural integrity is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail in preparing technical reports, design notes, and visual documentation.
