Role Description The AI Security Researcher is a full-time, remote role responsible for researching, analyzing, and addressing security risks in AI-driven systems and applications. In this position, the researcher will investigate vulnerabilities in AI models and supporting infrastructure, study emerging attack vectors, and develop mitigation strategies and security controls.

Day-to-day tasks include performing security assessments, conducting malware and threat analysis, collaborating with application and platform teams to design secure architectures, and producing technical documentation and research reports. The AI Security Researcher will also contribute to internal tools,



participate in incident response activities when needed, and share findings with stakeholders to improve Cybervie’s services and client defenses.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Cybersecurity and Security Research, with experience identifying, analyzing, and mitigating threats to AI and traditional systems.
- Hands-on skills in Application Security, including secure coding practices, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessment for AI-integrated applications.
- Proficiency in Malware Analysis and Reverse Engineering to dissect malicious code, analyze AI-targeted attacks, and develop detection or prevention techniques.
- Experience with AI/ML concepts, model architectures, adversarial attacks, and securing AI pipelines and data.
- Knowledge of networking, operating systems, and common security frameworks, tools, and standards (e.g., OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK;).
- Ability to write clear technical reports, research papers, and internal documentation, and to communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: Experience with scripting or programming languages (such as Python, C/C++), working in SOC/SIEM environments, and prior work in a security-focused research role.
