AI Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on AI Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) who can work directly with customers to understand complex, ambiguous problems and build production-ready AI solutions.

You will work closely with customers, understand their workflows, identify the real problem, design the solution, and take it from discovery → prototype → development → deployment → production.

Responsibilities

- Work directly with customers to understand their business and technical problems.
- Visit client locations when required to understand workflows and challenges.
- Translate ambiguous requirements into scalable technical and AI solutions.
- Build and deploy GenAI applications, AI Agents, RAG pipelines, and AI-powered workflows.
- Contribute hands-on to backend, frontend, APIs, AI pipelines, and integrations.
- Work with LLMs, APIs, vector databases, prompt engineering, evaluation, and AI orchestration.
- Own deployments end-to-end and continuously improve solutions based on customer feedback.
- Work in a quick-paced startup environment with high ownership and ambiguity.

Requirements





- 3+ years of hands-on software/AI engineering experience.
- Prior FDE / customer-facing engineering experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong coding skills in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, AI Agents, RAG, and AI workflows.
- Experience with tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs, or similar.
- Experience deploying production applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong problem-solving, system design, and debugging skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations as required.
