Role Description The Agricultural Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing agricultural systems and practices that support teaching, research, and field-based projects. Day-to-day tasks will include developing and monitoring irrigation systems, evaluating and improving pest control measures, and providing technical assistance to faculty, students, and partner organizations on agricultural engineering solutions. The role involves preparing technical documentation, supporting laboratory and field demonstrations, and participating in curriculum-related activities that integrate modern agricultural technologies.





This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kushinagar, requiring regular coordination with institutional stakeholders and local agricultural communities.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Agricultural Engineering, including design and optimization of agricultural systems.
- Practical knowledge of Irrigation systems, water management, and related field implementation.
- Experience with Pest Control strategies and integrated pest management in crop production.
- Ability to provide Technical Assistance, including troubleshooting equipment, guiding field operations, and supporting research projects.
- Competence in Planning agricultural projects, resource utilization, and sustainable farming practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Agricultural Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Familiarity with agricultural machinery, soil and crop management, and basic agri-environmental regulations.
- Effective communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with academic and community stakeholders, and readiness for on-site fieldwork.
- Experience in teaching assistance, extension activities, or academic research in agriculture is an added advantage.
