Position: Accounts Executive
Qualification & Experience
- CA Qualified / CA Semi-Qualified / CMA Qualified candidates.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant professional experience in accounting, financial reporting, taxation and related areas.
- Candidates with experience in handling Indian and/or international clients will be preferred.
- Strong academic and qualified fundamentals in accounting and taxation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain systematic accounting records, including recording,
classification, reconciliation, analysis and reporting of financial transactions.
- Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations and journal entries.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, MIS,
balance sheets, profit & loss statements and cash flow statements.
- Assist in month-end,
quarter-end and year-end closing activities and ensure timely completion of accounting schedules.
- Prepare and review financial data and supporting schedules for audit, tax and financial reporting purposes.
- Assist in preparation and review of GST, TDS and other applicable tax compliances and returns.
- Support the team in computation of taxes, preparation of tax data,
reconciliations and other taxation-related assignments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation laws,
regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams for collection of financial information, supporting documents and clarification of accounting and taxation matters.
- Assist in statutory, internal and external audit processes and provide required schedules, reconciliations and documentation.
- Identify accounting discrepancies, unusual transactions and control gaps and assist in resolving them.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, taxation laws, GST, TDS and other regulatory requirements.
- Handle assigned assignments independently and ensure work is completed within defined timelines and budgets.
- Deliver accurate, high-quality and timely work across multiple client assignments.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure proper documentation and filing of financial and client-related information.
Key Hard Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping and financial reporting.
- Good understanding of general ledger functions and month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Working knowledge of financial statement preparation and analysis.
- Good understanding of Indian taxation, particularly GST, TDS and Income Tax.
- Knowledge of tax compliance processes, reconciliations and preparation of supporting tax data.
- Understanding of applicable Accounting Standards / Ind AS and ability to keep abreast of regulatory changes.
- Experience in preparing and maintaining accounting schedules,
reconciliations and audit documentation.
- Good knowledge of accounting software such as Tally ERP/Tally Prime, SAP or other ERP/accounting systems.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including working with formulas, reconciliations,
data analysis and financial schedules.
- Ability to understand and work with financial data of Indian as well as international clients will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to independently manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
