Role Description The 2D Draftsman is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. The person in this role will prepare detailed 2D drawings and layouts for residential and commercial interior projects, following design concepts, specifications, and project requirements. Daily responsibilities include converting sketches and design inputs into accurate technical drawings, updating drawings based on site conditions and feedback, and coordinating with project managers, designers, and site teams to ensure alignment with execution plans.

The role also involves maintaining organized drawing files, ensuring compliance with relevant standards,



and supporting quantity take-offs and documentation required for BOQ and handover.

Qualifications

- Strong 2D drafting skills using industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and ability to create precise plans, elevations, and sections.
- Understanding of interior fit-out drawings, building components, and basic construction detailing for residential and commercial projects.
- Ability to interpret design briefs, architectural drawings, and site measurements, and translate them into explicit technical documentation.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in dimensioning, and consistency in layering, annotation, and drawing standards.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills to work with project managers, designers, engineers, and site supervisors.
- Capability to manage multiple drawing packages, prioritize tasks, and meet project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office or similar tools for basic documentation, reports, and drawing registers.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field; prior experience as a draftsman in interiors or construction is preferred.
- Familiarity with local building regulations and practical site execution constraints will be an advantage.
