We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support software development, build, integration, and automation activities for projects in the automotive and embedded software domain. The role will involve developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating development processes, managing build and integration tools, and integrating project-specific tools into the CI/CD environment.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, scripting, Git, Jenkins, and software automation. Exposure to automotive or embedded software development will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, configure, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
- Automate software build, integration, testing, and deployment processes.
- Manage and configure build and integration tools such as Jenkins and Git.
- Develop automation scripts and programs using Python, Java/Groovy, Shell, or Batch scripting.
- Automate repetitive development, build, integration, and deployment activities.
- Integrate project-specific tools into the CI/CD environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve build, integration, and pipeline-related issues.
- Manage source code repositories and development workflows using Git.
- Work with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket as part of the software development and collaboration process.
- Support containerized environments using Docker.
- Work with AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud platforms for development and CI/CD infrastructure.
- Perform cloud-related activities involving services such as AWS IAM and EC2.




- Collaborate with software development and integration teams to improve development and delivery processes.
- Follow established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and engineering practices.
- Continuously improve build, integration, and deployment processes through automation.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 1 to 6 years of relevant experience in DevOps, CI/CD, build automation, software integration, or related areas.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience with Jenkins and Git.
- Strong scripting/programming experience in one or more of:
- Python
- Java/Groovy
- Shell scripting
- Batch scripting

- Experience in writing programs/scripts for process automation.
- Positive understanding of SDLC and software development processes.
- Experience with Git and Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud platforms.
- Hands-on experience with AWS IAM, EC2, or equivalent cloud services.
- Experience integrating project-specific tools into CI/CD pipelines.

Good to Have:

- Experience in the automotive or embedded software industry.
- Hands-on experience with Docker.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Understanding of software design patterns.
- Exposure to embedded software development and integration environments.
- Familiarity with automotive software development processes.
