Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AS400/iSeries Developer with strong hands-on experience in ILE RPG and preferably SYNON (CA 2E). The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, maintaining, and supporting applications on the IBM i/AS400 platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the AS400/IBM i platform.
- Develop programs using ILE RPG / RPGLE.
- Work with SYNON / CA 2E for application development and maintenance.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain CL/CLLE programs and batch processes.
- Work with DB2 for i and write/modify SQL queries.
- Perform application debugging, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
- Analyze existing legacy applications and implement enhancements or fixes.
- Collaborate with business analysts, technical teams,



and other developers.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in AS400 / IBM i development.
- Hands-on experience with ILE RPG / RPGLE.
- Strong knowledge of DB2 for i.
- Experience with CL/CLLE.
- Good understanding of AS400 development, debugging, and job processing.
- Experience in application maintenance and production support.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with SYNON / CA 2E.
- Experience developing or maintaining applications generated through SYNON.
- Knowledge of SQLRPGLE.
- Experience with IBM i modernization or integration is an advantage.

Experience

- 5+ years of AS400/IBM i development experience.
- Solid hands-on experience in ILE RPG.
- SYNON / CA 2E experience is preferred, not mandatory.
