Role Summary: The role will be responsible for understanding customer engineering requirements, developing technically feasible solutions, preparing technical and commercial offers, and coordinating with internal technical teams to ensure accurate and competitive proposals.

Work Experience - 3-5 years

Purpose : - Understanding the need/engineering problem of the customer and then discuss with TSS and design and make the offer accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand customer requirements, engineering problems and application-related challenges.
- Coordinate with the Technical Services / Engineering team to develop suitable technical solutions.
- Design and develop 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
- Define product specifications based on customer requirements and application conditions.
- Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes and wear measurement to identify suitable solutions.
- Understand customer pain points and recommend technically appropriate products.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), cost calculations and manufacturing cost estimates.
- Conduct cost-value analysis to ensure commercially viable offers.




- Prepare accurate technical offer documents, quotations and proposal-related documentation.
- Present technical solutions and offers to customers and address technical queries.
- Support technical-commercial discussions and negotiations with customers.
- Coordinate with internal PMG teams, vendors and customers for offer finalisation.
- Ensure timely submission of accurate and competitive offers.
- Contribute towards continuous improvement, process standardisation and innovation in offer preparation.

Required Skills:

- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering drawings and 3D CAD modelling.
- Hands-on knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering calculations.
- Understanding of GD&T;.
- Experience in BOM preparation, costing and technical estimation.
- Positive customer communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Methodical approach with focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.

Preferred Industry Background:

Candidates from Metals & Mining, Heavy Engineering, Capital Equipment Manufacturing, Cement, Steel, Industrial Equipment or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.
