The Supply Chain Manager will take end-to-end ownership of five warehousing and procurement sections operating from the godown complex in Nizamabad, Telangana. Reporting directly to the Operations Head, this role requires deep, active involvementpersonally reviewing stock, procurement, processing, and despatch activities to ensure all section deliverables are completed on time. Additionally, the role involves monthly outstation travel to manufacturing centres across Telangana for facility inspections and an annual liaison visit to the Forest Department.

Team Structure & Organizational Setup

The Supply Chain Manager directly supervises five section leads, each managing a dedicated team member for Bidi Dispatch, Material Items, Other Items & Stationery, Tobacco, and Leaf. Beyond direct team supervision, the position requires close cross-functional coordination with the Operations Head as well as the Production, Finance, and HR departments to keep operations seamless.

Key Responsibilities

- Bidi Dispatch: Oversee the receipt of finished goods from manufacturing centres into the main godown, manage stock upkeep, and coordinate timely dispatches to sale points while balancing inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Material Items: Handle end-to-end procurement and inventory management of direct production materials,



ensuring on-time dispatch to manufacturing centres to prevent operational downtime.
- Other Items & Stationery: Manage procurement, godown storage, and despatch of production-related items and office/printed stationery, along with maintaining vendor relationships.
- Tobacco Section: Manage procurement exclusively through vetted vendors, maintain quality and safety storage standards, ensure adherence to processing formulas prior to dispatch, and oversee distribution to production units.
- Leaf Section: Supervise raw material receipt and stock records across three godown locations (Nizamabad and two additional sites), ensuring quality control and timely dispatch to production centres.
- Oversight & Compliance: Conduct hands-on reviews of section operations, perform monthly outstation HOD facility inspections using standard checklists, ensure SOP adherence, and handle annual statutory reporting with the Forest Department for leaf movement approvals.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree (a degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management is preferred) and possess 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in supply chain, warehouse, or procurement operations, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing sectors. The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, hands-on exposure to high-value inventory management, proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems, transparent communication abilities, and a willingness to travel monthly across Telangana.

Nature of Work Distribution

- Dispatch & Warehouse Operations (30%): Direct oversight of Bidi, Material, and Leaf dispatch and storage.
- Procurement & Vendor Management (25%): Coordinating procurement for Material, Tobacco, and Other Items sections.
- Section Supervision & Team Management (20%): Managing direct reports and daily section workflows.
- HOD Inspections & Travel (15%): Outstation facility visits and compliance checks.
- Documentation & Government Liaison (10%): ERP/MIS reporting, SOP documentation, and Forest Department interactions.
