1.Industrial Engineering & Work Standards • Establish and maintain standard cycle times, process times, and manpower norms for all manufacturing operations. • Conduct time studies, motion studies, and work measurement activities to improve operational effectiveness. • Develop and monitor standard operating parameters for optimum resource utilization. • Support workforce balancing and deployment planning to achieve targeted productivity levels. 2.Cost Optimization & Manufacturing Excellence • Lead manufacturing cost reduction initiatives through process optimization and waste elimination. • Drive Value Analysis (VA) and Value Engineering (VE) projects to improve cost competitiveness. • Analyze manufacturing costs and recommend improvement actions to enhance profitability. • Support product costing, investment justification, and business case preparation for new projects. 3..Capacity Planning & Facility Optimization • Prepare short-term and long-term capacity plans aligned with business growth objectives. • Lead facility layout optimization projects to improve material flow, space utilization, and operational efficiency. • Support expansion projects, new production lines, and capital investment planning activities. • Evaluate machine loading and resource utilization to maximize asset productivity. 4.Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement • Lead implementation and sustenance of Lean Manufacturing initiatives including 5S, Kaizen, SMED, TPM, Visual Management, and Waste Elimination programs. • Establish a culture of continuous improvement across all manufacturing areas. • Facilitate cross-functional improvement projects aimed at enhancing productivity, quality, cost, and delivery performance.



• Monitor and report improvement project advantages and sustainability. 5.Automation & Industry 4.0 Initiatives • Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation within manufacturing operations. • Lead implementation of robotic systems, machine monitoring solutions, and smart manufacturing technologies. • Support Industry 4.0 initiatives focused on productivity enhancement, data-driven decision-making, and operational excellence. • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for successful implementation of automation projects. 6.New Product Development Support • Provide manufacturing feasibility assessments for current products and business opportunities. • Support RFQ evaluation, process planning, capacity assessment, and investment estimation activities. • Participate in APQP, PPAP, and product industrialization activities to ensure successful project execution. • Ensure manufacturing readiness for new product launches. 7.Validate critical processes and evaluate Cp/Cpk for cycle time optimization in series production 8.Provide technical troubleshooting support at both in-house operations and supplier locations as per demand of production & SCM,Quality, as a CFT member. 9. Utilize SolidCAM software to optimize machining cycle time and improve productivity. 10. Ensuring adherence to quality standards & quality system management for ISO 9001:2015/IATF 16949:2016
