Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis and BTP Consultant to manage, maintain,

and secure our hybrid SAP landscape hosted on RISE with SAP. The ideal candidate

will be responsible for executing critical Basis operations, refreshing the driving system,

and coordinating Disaster Recovery (DR) drills directly with SAP.

Additionally, this role serves as our primary BTP Administrator, managing SAP

Business Technology Platform (BTP) environments, configuring subaccounts, and

managing entitlements. Crucially, the candidate must possess hands-on experience

utilizing Rev-Trac for automated change management, configuring ServiceNow

ticketing integrations, and operating SAP Cloud ALM for contemporary landscape monitoring.

Key Responsibilities SAP BTP Administration

• Subaccount & Entitlement Management: Create, configure, and maintain BTP

global accounts, directories, subaccounts, and spaces. Manage service

entitlements and quota allocations.

• BTP Connection & Integration: Configure and maintain SAP Cloud Connectors

to establish secure connections between on-premise/RISE systems and SAP

BTP.

• Security & Identity Configuration: Set up trust configurations in BTP, manage

subaccount security settings, and map Role Collections leveraging SAP Cloud

Identity Services (IAS/IPS).

• BTP Application Lifecycle: Manage transport routes within BTP using SAP

Cloud Transport Management Service (cTMS) or BTP Transport Management.

Monitor application runtime, resource consumption, and service health.

RISE Coordination, DR, & Core Basis Operations

• RISE with SAP Coordination: Serve as the technical point of contact to

orchestrate, log, and coordinate service requests (SRs)



with SAP operations for

upgrades, patching, and OS/DB modifications.

• Disaster Recovery (DR): Coordinate and execute scheduled DR drills, validate

failovers with SAP, and ensure Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery

Time Objectives (RTO) are strictly met.

• System Refreshes: Plan, coordinate, and execute end-to-end automated and

manual system refreshes (including post-refresh steps, BDLS, and interface re-

connections) for Development and Quality environments.

• Upgrades & Maintenance: Support SAP S/4HANA version upgrades, system

migrations, Support Packages (SP), Feature Pack Stacks (FPS), and critical

Security Patches.

• Database Administration: Administer and monitor SAP HANA Database health,

performance tuning, and ensure backup/recovery protocols are properly aligned

with SAP RISE.

Change Management, Cloud ALM, & Tooling

• ServiceNow Integration: Support, maintain, and troubleshoot the integration

between ServiceNow and SAP transport/change management tools (Rev-Trac)

for seamless ticket-to-transport workflows.

• SAP Cloud ALM Operations: Actively utilize SAP Cloud ALM for daily

monitoring, application operations, business process monitoring, and proactive

alerting across the hybrid landscape.

Required Skills & Experience

• SAP Basis Expertise: Strong,



hands-on experience as an SAP Basis

Consultant within hybrid cloud environments.

• RISE with SAP Experience: Proven experience navigating the SAP RISE

operating model, opening tickets, and coordinating infrastructure tasks with SAP

Delivery Teams.

• BTP Administration: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP BTP

administration (Global Accounts, Subaccounts, Cloud Connector, Destinations,

cTMS, and entitlements).

• Change Management: Proven expertise using advanced SAP change control

and transport auditing

• ServiceNow Integration: Hands-on experience or strong technical

understanding of integrating SAP transport systems with ServiceNow for

automated change approvals.

• SAP Cloud ALM: Solid experience implementing and operating SAP Cloud

ALM for proactive monitoring and alerting.

• DR & Refreshes: Demonstrated experience leading SAP Disaster Recovery

(DR) drills and full end-to-end S/4HANA system landscape refreshes.

• Database Management: Deep technical understanding of SAP HANA database

architecture, performance tuning, and backup/restore verification.

Nice to Have / Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with DevOps concepts on SAP BTP and integration with CI/CD

pipelines.

• Certification in SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP Cloud Platform or

SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP System Administration.

• Rev-Trac Transport Management: Administer and enforce automated change

control utilizing Rev-Trac across the entire SAP landscape. Ensure transport

compliance, conflict detection (OOPS), and parallel development tracking.
