Roles & Responsibilities for Internal Auditor (Consultant)

Job Description*

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical candidate to join our Internal Audit team. This role combines foundational internal audit practices with a strong emphasis on leveraging data analytics to enhance our audit capabilities. Candidate will be instrumental in executing audit engagements, identifying risks, uncovering insights from data, and supporting evidence, compliance, controls and datadriven audit conclusions. Key Responsibilities - Internal Audit Execution: • Participate in all phases of internal audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting, under the guidance of senior team members. • Assist in developing audit work programs and testing procedures. • Document audit work papers clearly and concisely, ensuring they meet professional standards. • Identify and assess risks, evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, and determine compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations. • Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.



• Work closely and independently with internal audit team members, IT, and business stakeholders to understand audit objectives, data requirements. • Develop and implement audit-specific data queries, scripts, and dashboards to support audit objectives and continuous monitoring. • Provide data-driven insights and evidence to substantiate audit findings and recommendations.

Candidate Profile* • Applying knowledge of Data Analytics Techniques (e.g., trend analysis, regression analysis, clustering, anomaly detection, verification of algorithm or as appropriate using JAVA, Python, Tableau, Power BI, or similar) as relevant to Internal Audit. • CA qualified • Credit bureau/ NBFC/ BFSI Domain experience is preferred • Lead end to end audit implementation • Technical Savy

Qualification CA Cleared with 1-3 years Internal auditor BFSI Experience (Mandatory)

Contract can be extended basis on performance. 1 year Contractual position
