Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated ITI Electrical Technician to join our Electrical Department. The candidate will be responsible for the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment manufactured by the company. The role also involves providing on-site service support, installation, commissioning, and repair of equipment at customer locations.

The ideal candidate should possess a basic understanding of electrical systems, electrical safety practices, and troubleshooting techniques, along with a willingness to learn and travel for field service activities.

Repair & Maintenance:

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electro-mechanical faults.

Repair defective equipment, assemblies, and subassemblies.

Replace damaged components and perform corrective maintenance.

Assist in preventive maintenance activities within the factory.

Field Service & Customer Support:

Visit customer sites for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of equipment.

Identify and resolve electrical faults at customer locations.

Provide technical support and guidance to customers during service visits.





Prepare service reports after completion of field work.

Safety & Compliance:

Follow all electrical safety procedures and company safety guidelines.

Use appropriate PPE and safety equipment while working.

Ensure protected handling of electrical tools, test equipment, and machinery.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.

Documentation

Maintain service records, repair reports, and testing records.

Report technical issues and recurring faults to supervisors.

Assist in inventory tracking of spare parts and consumables.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with electrical control panels, transformers, motors, or industrial equipment.

Familiarity with multimeters, insulation testers, and other electrical test instruments.

Basic understanding of electronics and PCB assembly.

Experience in field service activities and customer interaction.
