Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

- Record and maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally.
- Accurately enter goods return transactions, including purchase and sales returns.
- Maintain and update stock records location-wise in Tally.
- Monitor stock movement between different locations and ensure accurate inventory records.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records and identify discrepancies.
- Verify invoices, purchase/sales documents, and supporting records before making entries.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting and inventory-related records.
- Assist with stock reconciliation and periodic inventory verification.
- Support the senior accounts team with routine accounting and reporting activities.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely updating of all entries.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting/inventory management preferred.
- Valuable working knowledge of Tally/Tally Prime.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and inventory transactions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel will be an advantage.
