Role & Responsibilities:

- Operate the assigned foam cutting machine as per production requirements and work instructions.
- Machines may include CNC Foam Cutting, Long Peeler, Block Cutting, Vertical Cutting or Circular Cutting machines, depending on the assigned process.
- Set up the machine and adjust cutting parameters, dimensions and settings as required for the job.
- Accurately cut PU foam as per specified dimensions, drawings and production requirements.
- Carry out machine/job changeovers, blade/tool changes and basic machine adjustments as required.
- Perform in-process quality checks to ensure dimensional accuracy and cutting quality.
- Ensure proper handling of foam and minimise material wastage and rejection.
- Identify basic machine abnormalities and coordinate with the Maintenance team for breakdowns or technical issues.
- Maintain production records and report output, rejection and material wastage.
- Carry out routine cleaning, housekeeping and basic machine care.
- Follow SOPs, safety procedures, 5S and shop-floor discipline.
- Achieve assigned production targets while maintaining required quality and safety standards.





Preferred candidate profile

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, Machinist, Production or related trades preferred.
- 25 years of relevant experience as a machine operator in foam, mattress, furniture, upholstery, rubber or similar manufacturing industries.
- Hands-on experience in operating any one or more foam cutting machines such as CNC, Long Peeler, Block Cutting, Vertical Cutting or Circular Cutting will be preferred.
- Candidates with specific experience in the machine for which they are being considered will be given preference.
- Basic understanding of foam cutting, dimensions, measurements and material handling.
- Ability to understand job cards, work instructions and basic drawings.
- Knowledge of machine settings, blade changes and basic troubleshooting.
- Quality-conscious with positive focus on accuracy, productivity and material utilisation.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
- Good safety awareness, discipline and a hands-on approach to manufacturing operations.
