We are looking for an experienced AGM Quality to lead Quality Assurance activities in a stamping manufacturing workplace. The role will be responsible for QMS, customer quality, supplier quality, audits, continuous improvement, and leading the quality team.
Position: Assistant General Manager Quality
Industry: Stamping / Automotive Manufacturing
Location: KIADB Industrial Area, Devanahalli, Bangalore
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and maintain QMS as per ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.
- Oversee quality of stamping components and manufacturing processes.
- Handle customer complaints, 8D, CAPA and corrective actions.
- Manage supplier quality, supplier audits and supplier corrective actions.
- Lead internal/external audits and ensure compliance.
- Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze quality data, defects, FPY, customer returns and process capability.
- Lead, mentor and develop Quality Engineers, Inspectors and Technicians.
- Work closely with Production, Engineering and Supply Chain teams.
- Prepare quality MIS and reports for senior management.
Qualification & Experience:
- B.E./B.Tech Mechanical / Industrial / related engineering discipline.
- 18+ years of experience in Quality Management in stamping, automotive or manufacturing.
- Minimum 15 years in a Quality leadership/management role.
- Strong experience in handling customers, suppliers, audits and quality teams.
- Six Sigma Black Belt / Lean certification is an added advantage.
